Meet my dogs!

My dogs above in order of arrival; Ozzy, Nala, Kova, Niko, Rio, Floyd, Envy, Miami & Lira.

Ozzy is an alaskan malamute X german shepherd, hes a big lad at around 43kg and about 74cm at the shoulder.

Nala is a pure siberian husky, shes the oldest of the pack at age 7. I rescued Nala when she was 3 years old, she is the most reserved and placid out of all the dogs.

Kova popped up next, she was born in a shelter and i adopted her, she is a mix of a few breeds, mainly husky x malamute.

Niko the husky arrived next, this was unknowingly about to become one of the hardest most rewarding and emotional rollercoasters ever. Niko came to me around age 6 - he was a severe abuse case and was completely withdrawn and shut down, he had been kept in a small chicken hut for the vast majority of his life, beaten and starved. It took me a while to gain Niko's trust, we worked daily on small things, which over time we built up into an amazing bond, we climbed mountains, went swimming, adventures every day in the van with his new friends, he ate good meals, had a cosy bed and alot of love. I had Niko for around 2 years when he suddenly collapsed on one of our walks, he had suffered a massive internal rupture which caused extensive bleeding and sadly he slipped away, he managed to pull himself onto my knee and cuddle in before he passed. I will always take comfort in the happiness i managed to give Niko in the short time he was with me, bitter sweet.

Rio joined us next, she was also a shelter puppy, shes akita x rottie, Rio is one of the younger dogs in the group and one whos certainly the most cheeky but very affectionate.

Floyd i then was given from a couple who had bred him and he had been returned to them aged 1. Floyd is a Belgian malinois, a very big one at that. He matches ozzy in size but he certainly doesnt realise it lol. Floyd enjoys doing bite work and scent work to keep his brain active.

Next up is Envy - Floyds daughter. Envy had a very difficult start in life as she took seriously unwell we didnt think she was going to make it, ofcourse after all her constant care i was very attached to her so she had to stay.. she is a little firecracker and i'm looking forward to big things from her in the future.

Last but not least (at this point i'm writing this thinking "thats actually alot of dogs morgan lol"..) we have Miami and Lira who are french bulldog sisters, these two are easily the craziest out of all my dogs, they certainly keep everyone on their toes (or paws i should say..)

So thats my dogs, they all get along great and enjoy lots of adventures together, I couldnt imagine life without them all.
